The assisted living facility features 60-units; 40-units follow a medical (more structured) model while the remaining 20 follow a social (more independent) model. This facility, in conjunction with the community center, will feature a full array of program functions in an upscale residential setting.
As a connecting link between an existing skilled nursing facility and a proposed new assisted living facility, this community center is designed as a “downtown” both programmatically and aesthetically. Spaces contained within the center include a fitness center, swimming/therapy pool, theater, medical office, beauty salon, bank, post office, café, administration offices and classrooms.

The client has exhibited incredible vision and complete endorsement of incorporating sustainable strategies for this highly specific project. The primary focus will be the “Quality Indoor Environment.” Most critical for this end user is the quality of the air delivered, abundance of natural light and ventilation and reduction of indoor irritants. Full HVAC commissioning will be performed on this project to ensure that goal.
