Steve Leone is a Principal and the firm's Director of Sustainable Design. Based in the Freehold, New Jersey office. Steve joined Ecoplan (now the Freehold, NJ office of Cubellis) in 1986. In 2001, he became Principal-in-Charge of the Freehold office. Steve’s responsibilities include business development, client relations, architectural design, and sustainable design. His professional affiliations include LEED accreditation from the US Green Building Council (of which he is Past Chair of the NJ chapter), the AIA Committee On The Environment (COTE), membership in the Freehold Township Environmental Commission, and membership in the Dean’s Executive Council (New Jersey School of Architecture at NJIT). Steve has won several awards for architectural design excellence and was bestowed the 2005 Architect of the Year award by his local AIA Chapter.
