Rachid serves as Principal, Structural Engineering at Cubellis. He is the leader of the structural Engineering group in the Boston office. In this capacity he oversees the structural engineering design program, and is also a contributor to the business development effort. Rachid has over 20 years of professional experience in the design and management of buildings and structures in New England and throughout the country. He brings a holistic approach, a familiarity with the codes and unique expertise gained from the many years of solid design work on a variety of projects of various magnitudes types and complexity.
Rachid’s clients benefit from his many years of experience in new construction, additions, renovations, and rehabilitation of existing structures. His project experience includes commercial, retail and distribution centers, mixed use, residential, institutional, industrial, building façade restoration and environmental structures.
As a part of his diverse experience, Rachid personally designed several major mixed use, entertainment and shopping centers in Florida, New Jersey and New England. Rachid’s professional affiliations include the American Society of Civil Engineers, the Boston Association of Structural Engineers (BASE), and the Structural Engineers Association of Massachusetts (SEAMass). Rachid holds a Bachelor Civil Engineering Degree from the University of Minnesota, is NCEES certified and holds professional engineering licenses in several states.
