Kevin Dougherty is Principal in Cubellis’ Atlanta office, where he leads and directs all design for the office and leads all of its operations. Kevin brings to his position extensive expertise in retail, mixed use, housing, office and hospitality projects, which cumulatively, have enhanced his reputation in the master-planning and mixed use arena. During his three decades of professional experience, Kevin has been recognized by his peers as one of the country’s top architectural designers. His involvement in numerous trend-setting and award-winning projects has garnered numerous domestic and international design awards, with his work frequently published in the nation’s leading architectural publications. Prior to joining Cubellis, Kevin was President of his own practice, Dougherty + Design Group, which merged with Cubellis in the spring of 2008. His numerous professional affiliations include the American Institute of Architects, American Planning Association, National Council of Architectural Registration Boards, American Institute of Certified Planners, International Council of Shopping Centers and the Urban Land Institute. Kevin holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from The Ohio State University, a Master of Architecture from University of Minnesota 1977 and a Master of Planning from the Hubert Humphrey Institute of Public Affairs at the University of Minnesota.
